Our Purpose
Why We Exist
Building Shalom was formed to implement a unique approach to housing and neighborhood development in blighted communities. While Building Shalom has concentrated a majority of its work in the South Rocky Mount neighborhood, our organization desires to expand and work in other surrounding neighborhoods that suffer from blight and material poverty.
Mission
The mission of Building Shalom is to build blighted neighborhoods into beautiful and beloved neighborhoods.
Vision
Seeking the flourishing of our neighbor(s) and neighborhood(s) by helping our neighbor(s) become homeowners while working to create beautiful homes and peaceful neighborhoods where they become homeowners.
